From The Principal

May 10, 2023

It’s been a very quick month with Spring Break and Easter holiday being so close together. We’ve seen the snow gone from our field and the ground has dried out quickly, making it easy for students to use our entire field once again. They have spent recess and lunch hour using equipment and finding games to do either individually or collectively, and the atmosphere has been calm and fun! Thank you to all who supported our skiing program- from the teachers who worked out the details to parent volunteers- thank you for making those three days so successful for our kids. A huge thanks to our PAC for paying the bussing costs and to the Aboriginal Education department for sponsoring student’s fees. The next couple of months will go by just as quickly. We can look forward to year-end class activities, sports such as Cross-Country Running and Track and Field as well as the popular slide show on the final day. We are also privileged to welcome Mr. Clayton Gauthier, a visiting artist who will be working with our students for three days to complete a mural project in our gymnasium. Thank you to all parents and caregivers for your support- we couldn’t do it without you.
